Well when i first came to middle school in 6th grade. I didn't really read that much and i wasn't good reader. When I came to 7 grade my i got better at reading but i still didn't enjoy reading. To me reading was not enjoyable. When i came to 8th grade i really didn't read a lot of books but my 8th grade humanities teachers helped me to learn to like reading and that helped me to read alot of books. They have worked with me during the year to improve my understanding of reading and how i choose the books i read.
The book that i liked the most was Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Askaban by J.K. Rowling. This book inspired me to read more challenging books like twilight series and the rest of the Harry Potter series.I really think that my reading has improve since 6th grade and my reading level has gone up.

Your reading reflection can be a bit more elaborate... Explain exactly what you learned and why you think "your reading has improved".
you blog is the BOMB!!!!!!!
Mr. Gordon,
I really like how you highlighted that reading is a life long journey. The first step is learning how to read, the second is to find the genre that inspires you to love reading and the third is to branch out from that genre and discover even more types of books that you will love. You are well on your way! Congratulations! :o)
